Paradise in Noosa

Noosa along with Port Douglas, are my two favourite holiday destinations. The weather is warm, the scenery is breathtaking, the beaches are pristine, stylish shops and restaurants are in abundance and they are only a short plane ride away. When we go, it's just the two of us, so we stay at the Sheraton at both places but if you are looking for some larger, stylish accommodation to fit the whole family then 180 Degrees in Noosa just might be the perfect answer. This penthouse apartment is located in prime position on Hastings Street and is graced with spectacular views overlooking Main Beach with Fraser Island in the distance.

Working alongside Brisbane architecture firm DM2, Melbourne based interior designers Sanders & King oversaw the interior fitout and remodelling of what was once a very tired, eighties apartment. Set out over 5 split levels, Sanders & King worked with the architects to open up the interior spaces by adding a new open tread staircase to allow natural light to penetrate from above and a clean fresh new palette of finishes for a more contemporary, coastal feel. The brief was to create a family holiday home with a sense of modern luxury without being too precious. High quality finishes, designer furniture and Italian lighting have been used throughout. There are multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, living spaces and outdoor seating areas ensures that 2 large families can be accommodated here with ease. The hillside pool on the top level is the icing on the cake - it flows on from the kids lounge area, which will keep the kids entertained for hours on end!

Seaside Elegance

Blue days

Feeling Blue?

Far from melancholy, splashes of pale blue
will instantly create a calm and tranquil mood in your home.

To achieve an elegant, yet relaxed coastal feel in your beach house
~ start with a neutral base of white, light grey or beige
then layer up the textures, mix in some classsic Hamptons style furniture,
add some pale blue accents then finish the look off with some seaside accessories.
